Route Overview
The Fellsman
The start of the main event is in Ingleton in the field behind the Community Centre at 8.30 am sharp.
All entrants are expected to check in between 6.00 am and 8.00 am on the morning of the event.
The Fellsman Dart
The start of the event is at Redshaw Checkpoint at 1pm. Due the remoteness of the checkpoint there isn’t space for vehicles, therefore all entrants will register on to the event at Ingleton Community Centre between 9.30am and 11.00am. Entrants will then be transported FOC by coach to the start location just in time to set off.
Self-transportation to the start location is not permitted.
The final leg takes the entrant across the top of the hills to the east of Wharfedale, drops down into the village of Grassington then crosses the river Wharfe
Both events finish as you cross the line and “Check In” at Final Check located in the school reception at Upper Wharfedale High School in Threshfield, Grassington.

Not Something For Everyone!
The event climbs over 11,000 feet in its path from Ingleton to Threshfield in the Yorkshire Dales. Most of the route is over privately owned land, the use of which is secured by the organisers for the weekend only.
This being the case, the route does not follow well defined footpaths, so the entrants’ navigational skills with a map and compass are tested as well as their physical fitness. Because of this, only fit and experienced walkers or runners should enter.
